Role:

Are you looking for a role where you combine technical depth and responsibility? As an Application Service Manager, you ensure that business- and production-critical applications run reliably and continuously evolve. You track disruptions to their root cause and do not let system boundaries stop you. With your sense for optimisation, you make operational processes more efficient and independently manage technical sub-projects.

Responsibilities:

• You ensure a stable, performant, and secure operation of the business applications and are responsible for their entire lifecycle.

• In the case of complex disruptions, you investigate the causes across applications, interfaces, and data flows and coordinate incidents with manufacturers and internal specialists.

• You monitor interfaces to production systems and other subsystems and ensure the proper processing of JSON, XML, and CSV.

• Furthermore, you translate business requirements into appropriate configurations and maintain workflows, rules, and templates.

• Additionally, you manage updates and releases, plan integration and acceptance tests, and administer user accounts and access rights.

• You also participate in digitalisation projects, drive automation forward, and document systems and processes comprehensibly.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in application engineering, application management, or technical application operations distinguish you.

• You have studied computer science or business informatics or completed a comparable technical education.

• You are confident in interface management, understand structured data formats, and ideally know REST APIs or web services.

• For analyses and troubleshooting, you independently use SQL, logging, and monitoring.

• In addition, you have solid knowledge of incident, problem, and change processes as well as role and permission concepts. Experience with configuration or automation software is a plus.

• You also work in a structured and responsible manner, explain technical matters clearly, and communicate fluently in German while effortlessly understanding English manufacturer documentation.
