In this role, as an ICT Senior System Engineer with a focus on Cyber Security, you will shape the further development of cyber and data security in complex IT environments and ensure sustainable protection and risk minimisation. You will design and implement security architectures, create security concepts according to common standards, and conduct security audits, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses. From the insights gained, you will derive concrete measures, operate, harden, and optimise IT infrastructures and central services such as Linux/Unix, Netscaler, Nextcloud, mail gateway, and web platforms. Additionally, you will deploy and further develop security solutions in the Microsoft 365 environment, plan and implement ICT projects with a focus on security and infrastructure. As a sparring partner in the area of security and architecture, you will advise customers with technical expertise, manage expectations, and provide clear recommendations.
Responsibilities:
You develop cyber and data security further and strengthen the sustainable protection of customer and internal environments
In security concepts and security architectures, you apply common standards purposefully
You conduct audits, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses and derive appropriate measures
You effectively apply your expertise in ICT projects, infrastructures, and Microsoft 365 security
As a technical sparring partner, you competently advise customers and jointly develop sustainable solutions
Qualifications:
Education in computer science/system technology or comparable qualification
Very good knowledge of network and cyber security, especially routing, switching, and firewalls
Several years of experience in leading ICT projects with clear result responsibility
Fluent German in spoken and written form as well as a strong willingness to learn and enthusiasm for further development
