As a specialist responsible person, you will be significantly involved in transferring the findings of the groundbreaking FICUS study (Naef et al., 2025) into our clinical routine. You actively shape the role of the "family nursing specialist" and ensure that relatives are not just visitors but partners in the healing process.
You will take on:
- Holistic, evidence-based care of patients requiring intensive care
- Professional support and advice for relatives in challenging situations. You implement structured communication and emotional support based on the FICUS intervention model (30%)
- Ensuring the physical and psychological well-being as well as the safety of our patients
- Active participation in flexible shift work
- Development, introduction and evaluation of family-centred care in the FICUS study
- Active involvement in clinical improvement and innovation processes within projects
- Committed and appreciative collaboration within the entire treatment team
You bring with you:
- Diploma as Expert in Intensive Care Nursing NDS HF (or equivalent qualification)
- Academic background: welcome but not mandatory
- Several years of professional experience in an intensive care unit of a Swiss acute hospital
- Strong professional, communicative and social skills - you can support people in crisis
- Great interest in innovation, evidence-based practice (EBP) and quality development
- High personal responsibility, resilience, organisational talent and confident handling of digital clinical information systems
