Air Freight Export Clerk 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

You will take on the order acceptance and verification of details and manage international transports from A to Z, including customs-related clarifications. In doing so, you prepare the necessary transport documents, issue and coordinate orders with our partners, and obtain and compare freight rates. Additionally, invoice control and billing, handling complaints, as well as providing professional support to the sales team are part of your duties. You prepare and track quotations and are responsible for customer care.

What do I need to be successful?

You have a commercial basic education in international freight forwarding logistics and ideally a very good qualification. Furthermore, you bring 2-3 years of professional experience in air freight as well as knowledge in export customs clearance. You are familiar with the air freight market and impress with negotiation skills and sales talent in dealing with customers and partners. Good English skills, both spoken and written, are required; additional language skills are an advantage. You work flexibly, motivated, and enjoy working in a team, think process- and solution-oriented, and keep an overview even with complex tasks. Working in an intercultural environment brings you joy. Knowledge in the area of dangerous goods in air freight is advantageous.
