Securing digital infrastructures requires foresight, technical understanding and strategic leadership. We are looking for a security professional who designs complex SOC services, reduces cyber risks and sustainably establishes modern security processes.
Responsibilities:
Building, managing and continuously improving a modern SOC service organisation
Developing strategic security roadmaps focusing on detection, response and prevention
Coordinating security operations between internal teams, external security partners and management
Responsibility for quality assurance and further development of existing security processes
Managing incident response procedures for security-critical events
Conducting analyses using SIEM, SOAR and XDR technologies
Identifying new attack patterns and deriving appropriate protective measures
Developing and implementing threat hunting strategies
Leading cyber security projects to modernise security platforms
Managing security service providers and being responsible for contract and performance management
Preparing management reports, security analyses and decision-making bases
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science, IT security, business informatics or a comparable field
Many years of experience in cyber security, SOC environments or security engineering
Deep understanding of security operations, incident response and cyber threats
Experience with SIEM, SOAR, XDR, endpoint security and modern detection technologies
Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux system landscapes
Experience in leading, coordinating or strategically further developing SOC services
Knowledge of current security frameworks and best practices
Certifications in cyber security or security management are an advantage
Strong communication skills and confident appearance towards various stakeholders
Enthusiasm for new technologies such as security automation, threat intelligence, cloud security and zero trust architecture
Structured, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial working style
