To complement our team at the BAZ Basel centre, we are looking for a Cook 100% to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your Responsibilities
- Independently performing the cooking tasks in compliance with the prescribed workflows
- Being responsible for the proper preparation of meals
- Ensuring the practical instruction of asylum seekers and the use of work utensils
- Conveying and checking work-related standards and values and the correct work equipment
- Adhering to hygiene and safety regulations according to HACCP guidelines
- Checking incoming goods and ensuring proper food storage
Your Profile
- Secondary level II: Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
- 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
- HACCP theory and practical implementation
- Knowledge of proper handling of food and kitchen equipment
- First aid course completed
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Impeccable character (no entries in debt enforcement or criminal records)
- German | spoken: B2 | written: B2
- French | spoken: B1 | written: B1
- English | spoken: B1 | written: B1
