Head of Finance in Executive Management (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF125,000 - 140,000Role:
In this role, you take on a responsible key position at the interface of finance, reporting, governance, and corporate development. You are responsible for the further development of efficient financial processes and benefit from short decision-making paths and a high degree of creative freedom. As a member of the executive management, you actively participate in strategic decisions and shape the financial direction of the company. You can expect an innovative, specialised medical environment with a strong focus on quality. You will work with a motivated, professional team on a meaningful task in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for financial accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment transactions, and liquidity planning.
- In this role, you prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure their quality.
- You manage reporting, budgeting, forecasts, as well as variance analyses and develop meaningful key performance indicator dashboards.
- As Head of Finance, you stabilise financial and payroll accounting and manage finance-related HR interface topics such as social insurance and personnel budgeting.
- You prepare executive board, board of directors, and general meeting sessions, take minutes, and manage insurance, rental contracts, as well as heating and ancillary cost accounting.
- In this role, you actively contribute to quality management, certifications, risk analyses, and cooperation with partner hospitals.
Qualifications:
- You have a solid further education in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate or equivalent level).
- You have several years of experience in a finance, accounting, or CFO-related function, ideally in an SME.
- You are very familiar with Swiss finance and accounting, reporting, and controlling.
- You are experienced in dealing with executive management, board of directors, fiduciaries, audits, and authorities.
- You enjoy working with digital tools, structured data, and contribute to the automation of reporting processes.
- You impress with confident German language skills; French and/or English skills are a plus.
