Infrastructure & Network Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
You are responsible for the operation, further development, and security hardening of the network environment, ensuring a secure, high-performance infrastructure. In this position, you plan and implement VLAN segmentation, micro-segmentation, and zero-trust networks, manage and expand Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Hyper-V-based servers. You monitor and improve network security through firewall rules, VPN, policies, and IDS/IPS and support 3rd-level support for infrastructure and security. Additionally, you contribute to exciting future projects such as NAC, SD-WAN, and network automation and engage with modern security approaches.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation, further development, and security hardening of the network environment (FortiGate, Unifi, FS.com)
You plan and implement VLAN segmentation, micro-segmentation, and zero-trust networks
You manage and expand Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Hyper-V-based servers
You monitor and improve network security (firewall rules, VPN, policies, IDS/IPS)
You support 3rd-level support for infrastructure and security
You also contribute to future projects such as NAC, SD-WAN, and network automation
Qualifications:
You have completed IT training or have comparable professional experience
You possess very good knowledge of network and security technologies (VLAN, routing, switching with Unifi, FS.com, Cisco or comparable)
You have experience in firewall management (FortiGate, ideally NSE certification is an advantage)
You bring solid experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365, and Hyper-V
You understand modern IT security approaches (Zero Trust, Least Privilege, Defence in Depth)
You work analytically and solution-oriented and are interested in new technologies
