Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Service Technician Building Automation for the independent maintenance of building technical systems on site at customers. You will take on fault rectification, maintenance, and repair work on automation and control systems and independently carry out smaller modernisation projects. You will work at the interface of building automation, HVAC, electrical, network, and bus systems and ensure reliable system operation. With your own service vehicle, you will largely manage your area of operation independently and take on on-call duty at defined intervals.
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of service, maintenance, and repair work on building automation systems
Systematic troubleshooting and fault rectification on automation, control, and regulation systems
Diagnosis and resolution of faults in HVAC controls and building management systems
Implementation of smaller modernisation, conversion, and optimisation projects on control systems
Inspection of sensors, actuators, controllers, and automation components as well as replacement and parameterisation as needed
Analysis of network and bus systems within building automation and localisation of communication faults
Execution of function tests, commissioning, and system optimisations after service and conversion work
Maintenance of existing systems and development of technical optimisation measures for operation and energy efficiency
Documentation of completed work and maintenance of service, system, and fault logs
Independent planning and coordination of service deployments in the assigned area
Participation in on-call duty and professional handling of urgent system faults outside regular working hours
Qualifications:
Completed basic training as automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ or comparable electrical training
Several years of experience as a service technician or service fitter, ideally in building automation
Good knowledge of building automation, HVAC control, and building management systems
Knowledge of network and bus systems in building technology as well as good PC user skills
Connection permit NIV Art. 15 is an advantage
Good German language skills for technical documentation and customer assignments
Valid driving licence category B
