Your mission
Under the responsibility of the management, you will ensure the operational, educational and managerial leadership of a group of children. Acting as a true link between management and the educational team, you guarantee the quality of care, the implementation of the educational project and the smooth daily running of your sector.
Present on site, you support the staff, encourage the development of their skills and ensure that children are offered a safe, stimulating environment that respects their needs.
Your main responsibilities
- Supervise, support and assist the educational teams in their professional practice.
- Ensure the implementation and respect of the educational project as well as institutional guidelines.
- Organise the daily functioning of the group and anticipate needs.
- Lead meetings and times for exchange and reflection on professional practices.
- Be the primary contact for families regarding educational matters and ensure professional quality communication.
- Work closely with management and ensure reliable transmission of information, needs and particular situations.
- Actively participate in the daily life of the facility and support teams in educational activities, care and tasks related to child reception.
Your profile
- Diploma as an early childhood educator or a Federal VET Diploma as a socio-educational assistant.
- Proven experience in supporting groups of children; experience in coordination or supervision is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of child development and early childhood educational approaches.
- Natural leadership, ability to unite a team and support staff development.
- Excellent communication skills, active listening and ability to resolve complex situations.
- Analytical mindset, ability to take a step back and emotional stability.
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy and ability to work closely with management, families and various partners of the facility.
