Outsystems Developer
Responsibilities
- Development, maintenance and optimisation of applications on the Outsystems platform
- Implementation of high-quality solutions based on user stories in close collaboration with the Tech Lead, Solution Architects and subject matter experts
- Development of reusable, scalable and maintainable software components as well as contribution to the continuous improvement of the application landscape
- Conducting unit tests, supporting integration tests, troubleshooting and optimising applications while adhering to security, quality and development standards, as well as ongoing documentation
- Active participation in Scrum events, close collaboration with Product Delivery Lead, Tech Lead and subject matter experts; support with tests, deployments and go-live activities as well as knowledge sharing for continuous improvement within the team
Requirements
- Completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in developing enterprise applications with Outsystems as well as building responsive web and mobile applications
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, integration of external systems, and good understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of best software development practices, testing and versioning, experience working in agile or Scrum teams, and experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills, good usability and frontend competence, experience in retail or omnichannel environments is an advantage, as well as good German and English skills, both spoken and written
