Laboratory Technician R&D 80-100%

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialised components required for the precise control of plasma processes, used in the production of memory chips or touchscreens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

This is what you will do:

• Support the laboratory manager in the maintenance and further development of the laboratory infrastructure
• Develop and build the test infrastructure for characterising electronic modules according to specifications (plant construction)
• Maintain the laboratory infrastructure including equipment recording/disposal, calibrations and repairs (including administrative support)
• Support the procurement of laboratory infrastructure and laboratory materials according to specifications

What you bring:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician or automation technician
• Experience in electrical measurement technology, setting up test benches as well as planning and developing electrical control systems, experience in plant construction
• Knowledge in the area of control cabinets and ideally in the assessment of safety-relevant machine controls
• Programming skills in PLC, SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Very good German skills and good English skills as well as an independent, structured and reliable way of working
