About the position
Experis is recruiting for one of its industrial clients an Industrial IT Business Analyst capable of acting as the interface between production teams and IT teams.
In this central role, you support the business units in expressing their needs, coordinate projects for the evolution of industrial tools, and ensure the quality of data necessary for the smooth running of operations.
Your mission is to understand the challenges on the ground, formalise them and transform them into suitable solutions in collaboration with the IT teams and various company stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Be the primary contact for production teams regarding industrial information systems.
- Gather, analyse and formalise business needs.
- Translate operational needs into functional specifications understandable by IT teams.
- Act as the interface between users, IT teams and external partners.
- Coordinate projects for the evolution of business tools and applications.
- Contribute to the improvement of industrial processes and information flows.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of reference data used by various systems.
- Participate in data governance and the definition of best practices.
- Support change management, train users and promote the adoption of new solutions.
- Lead workshops and unite different stakeholders around projects.
- Maintain regular follow-up with field teams to understand their challenges and operational constraints.
- Be the primary contact for production teams regarding information systems.
- Understand operational needs and translate them into functional specifications usable by IT teams.
- Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams and external partners.
- Support users in the evolution of processes and tools.
- Lead or coordinate improvement and digital transformation projects.
- Organise and facilitate workshops with various stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of reference data.
- Contribute to data governance and continuous improvement of associated practices.
- Coordinate the various participants involved in projects.
- Participate in impact analysis, change management and user training.
- Maintain a presence on site to understand the daily issues of production teams and provide appropriate solutions.
- HES Engineer degree, university degree or equivalent training.
- Professional experience of at least 5 years in Switzerland in a manufacturing industrial environment.
- Proven experience in a liaison role between business units and IT.
- Good understanding of industrial processes and production constraints.
- Experience in gathering, analysing and formalising business needs.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience in managing reference data and data governance.
- Good understanding of ERP, MES, PLM environments or similar industrial applications.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to produce functional specifications.
- Ability to simplify technical topics for non-specialist interlocutors.
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong service orientation.
