Who we are:We, PZM Zürich AG, are an established engineering company planning demanding and innovative projects in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary, sprinkler, electrical and building automation. PZM Zürich AG is part of a group of companies with six businesses and around 160 employees at the locations in Zurich and Lucerne. What awaits you with us:
You can expect varied and responsible tasks in the areas of office, administration and project assistance in a growing company at the Zurich location.
Your working day consists of routine as well as varied tasks that you carry out independently and reliably. You can actively contribute your organisational talent and experience, think along and take responsibility.
As the central administrative and organisational hub at the Zurich location, you largely design and coordinate your area of responsibility independently. In doing so, you support the management, executives, project managers and employees in their daily work and ensure that our location runs smoothly organisationally. At the same time, you benefit from close cooperation and professional support from the central administration of Rebsamen Management AG in Lucerne.
Since you ensure the administrative presence and reception at the Zurich location, your role is tied to fixed working hours on site:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30–12:00 and 13:00–17:00
- Friday: 07:30–12:00 and 13:00–16:30
This means a varied role with personal responsibility and at the same time strong support within our group of companies, ideal for a personality who enjoys organising, thinking ahead, taking initiative and keeping an overview.
As this is an on-site role, there is no home office option for this position.
What you do with us:
- You relieve our management, executives, project managers and employees in administrative, communicative and organisational matters.
- You look after our reception as well as customers, business partners and visitors including meeting rooms.
- You ensure a tidy and well-organised office, reception and communal area.
- You operate our telephone switchboard and manage the general business email account.
- You handle incoming and outgoing mail as well as parcels and other shipments.
- You prepare correspondence, documentation, minutes, memos and other documents.
- You manage office supplies, cafeteria and other consumables and coordinate location-related services.
- You coordinate organisational matters concerning our pool and company vehicles with the responsible department.
- You manage the petty cash at the Zurich location and prepare the necessary documents for central accounting.
- You support the organisational preparation of new hires and welcome new employees with an administrative introduction on their first day.
- You organise smaller internal staff events and other tokens of appreciation for our employees.
- You undertake errands, small purchases as well as administrative and organisational ad hoc tasks.
- You work closely with the central administration in Lucerne as well as various internal and external parties.

What you bring with you:
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship EFZ or equivalent.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience after your training in a comparable role.
- You have very good and confident German language skills in spoken and written form & can communicate in English.
- You are confident in using Microsoft 365 and have good PC user skills.
- You feel comfortable in a role where you work independently on site and take responsibility for administrative and organisational processes.
- You are a trustworthy and discreet personality and handle internal information responsibly.
- You are characterised by a very reliable, committed and responsible way of working.
- You work independently, precisely, structured and carefully.
- You have very good coordination and organisational skills and keep an overview even with several parallel tasks.
- You think ahead, recognise tasks independently and tackle them proactively.
- You present yourself professionally, friendly and service-oriented.
- You enjoy a varied role and are willing to take on both administrative and practical organisational tasks.
- A category B driving licence is an advantage.
- You are willing to complete a significant part of your induction at our Lucerne location during the first 2–4 weeks.
