Client and System Engineer (m/f/d) 80–100%
Your Tasks
- Participation in the design, standardization and further development of the modern workplace environment (Intune, Azure/Entra ID, M365)
- Analysis of new requirements and assessment of impacts on existing systems and services
- Responsibility for software distribution, devices, patch and lifecycle management of hardware and software
- Automation of recurring processes and development of simple scripts (e.g. PowerShell)
- Training and solution handover to support
- Ensuring stable, secure and efficient operations
- Analysis and resolution of faults in 2nd/3rd level support
- Monitoring availability and security and initiating appropriate measures in case of deviations
- Taking over individual system engineer tasks in the areas of server management, backup, virtualization and cloud
- Creation and maintenance of operating concepts, technical documentation, standards and policies
- Participation in IT projects as well as taking over orders or subproject management
Your Qualities
- Completed studies in computer science
- Alternatively, you have completed IT training, supplemented by relevant professional experience and further training at HFP level
- 3-4 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in hybrid infrastructures
- You have deep knowledge in operating client infrastructures, especially Windows 11, software distribution, mobile device management, etc.
- Solid experience in operating and managing Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft 365
- Experience in system engineering, specifically Windows Server management, operation of on-prem and cloud infrastructures
- You have the ability for structured analysis and solving technical challenges as well as conceptual work
- You love to understand problems in detail and sustainably fix the causes
- Your personality is characterized by your independence, reliability and accuracy as well as your proactivity and ability to work in a team
- Willingness for optional on-call duty
