About the job
For our client, a successful Swiss industrial company with its own production, we are looking for an experienced individual in the field of design. In this versatile role, you will take on the technical implementation of customer orders, create production documents, and accompany projects from design to manufacturing. You will work closely with production, sales, and order processing.
- Creation and maintenance of production and manufacturing drawings
- Technical processing and adaptation of existing products
- Support of order processing with technical queries
- Participation in special projects and individual customer solutions
- Ensuring manufacturable and economical design
- Maintenance of technical documentation and master data
- Several years of professional experience in design, preferably in an industrial environment
- Very good knowledge of a common 3D-CAD system, ideally SolidWorks
- Experience in the design of sheet metal, metal, or industrial components
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and producing companies
- Knowledge of ERP or PDM systems is an advantage
- Experience in work preparation (AVOR) is an advantage
- Fluent German skills, additional language skills are an advantage

- Completed training as a certified designer (EFZ)- Several years of professional experience in design, preferably in an industrial environment

- Understanding of manufacturing processes and producing companies
- Knowledge of ERP or PDM systems is an advantage
