Technical Buyer 100% (m/f/d)
Our client is an established Swiss company in the industrial sector with an international focus. The emphasis is on high-quality products, modern technologies and the continuous development of products and processes.
Responsibilities:
You coordinate the order processing from the quotation to on-time delivery.
You check, compare and evaluate offers in terms of cost and scope of services.
In price and contract negotiations, you represent the purchasing interests vis-à-vis international suppliers.
You monitor material supply in coordination with internal departments and external partners.
You handle complaints together with the responsible departments and follow up on agreed corrective measures.
Through supplier evaluations and audits, you check the quality, reliability and performance of business partners.
You actively participate in make-or-buy analyses, calculations and cross-departmental projects.
You support the further development of the procurement strategy and examine possibilities to improve the supplier portfolio.
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training, ideally in precision optics or a comparable technical profession.
Further training in purchasing, for example as a purchasing specialist, or an equivalent qualification.
Several years of professional experience in international procurement within an industrial company.
Sound technical knowledge, preferably in optics or precision engineering.
Confident manner in negotiations as well as a good understanding of commercial contexts.
Experience with SAP and common MS Office applications.
Structured working method, clear communication and consistent focus on costs, quality and deadlines.
Very good German and good English skills for collaboration with international business partners.
