Role:
The organisation is an independent Swiss institution in the health and regulatory environment and plays an important role in the quality, safety, and control of products with high societal relevance.
The working environment is interdisciplinary and combines expertise from natural sciences, medicine, law, quality management, digitalisation, and administration. Employees work on demanding issues, analyse complex matters, and liaise with various professionals, companies, authorities, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
You independently take responsibility for all finance and accounting areas and ensure reliable processing of general, subsidiary, and payroll accounting.
You are responsible for IFRS reporting and analyse the financial statements while coordinating budgeting, forecasts, and multi-year planning.
For financial management, you take on liquidity and financing planning and oversee tax and audit-related matters.
You ensure a functioning internal control and risk management system and further develop controlling, systems, and reporting structures.
With your leadership experience, you strengthen the finance team, promote its development, and initiate digitalisation and efficient financial processes.
Qualifications:
A business administration education with a focus on finance/controlling or a qualification as a certified expert in accounting & controlling forms your foundation.
You bring several years of experience in a responsible leadership position in the finance area.
Sound knowledge in accounting, controlling, taxation, and financing issues is part of your professional profile.
Confident use of SAP, Excel, and Power BI as well as a strong affinity for digital financial solutions are required.
Your strategic and analytical working style, pronounced numerical orientation, and leadership skills are complemented by flawless written and spoken German.
