Industrial Program Manager

Description

• Define program and project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with divisional strategy.
• Develop, maintain, and control program and project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Critically challenge project estimates to ensure realistic and high-quality planning.
• Establish and enforce program governance frameworks across stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
• Identify project dependencies and manage critical paths across multi-project programs.
• Proactively assess resource needs and balance priorities with department heads.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and ensure alignment across Operations, R&D, and Product teams.
• Identify risks, define mitigation plans, and monitor execution.
• Track progress, report status, and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
• Prepare and lead stage-gate reviews with evidence-based recommendations.

Profile

• Technical education combined with formal training in Program or Project Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in program and project management within industrial or R&D environments.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
• Strong background in international, multicultural, matrix organizations.
• Solid command of project planning tools, ideally Microsoft Project.
• Certification in Program or Project Management (PMI or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP-based project financial tracking (ideally SAP) is a plus.
• Fluency in English; French and/or German are strong assets.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
