ESENCIAL énergies, an electrical company active in the canton of Vaud, is strengthening its Technical & Performance Office and is looking for its future technical manager for electrical studies.

Why this position is essential for us

You are the link between the technical office, project managers, assembly teams, clients and external partners. You are involved from the study phase through to completion, which is why your design choices have a direct impact on the quality of our sites and on client satisfaction. You also have real scope to improve our way of working: in a company developing in home automation and energy management, you contribute to designing smarter and more economical buildings.

Your missions

Design and study projects. You design and size electrical installations adapted to clients’ needs and their economic objectives. You participate in the various study phases according to SIA standards, prepare tender documents and analyse the technical feasibility of projects.

Create plans and files. You produce project, execution, assembly and revision plans using CAD. You check measurements and quantities, and prepare study, instruction and maintenance files.

Plan and monitor execution. Together with project managers, you anticipate execution phases to optimise resources and deadlines. During works, you ensure technical follow-up, adapt plans if necessary and liaise with on-site requirements. You participate in technical meetings with clients, architects, engineers and site managers, and carry out site surveys when useful.

Prepare offers. You contribute to the preparation of offers, bids and technical variants, evaluate costs and keep information on suppliers and products up to date.

Advance the technical office. You develop a library of diagrams, details and standardised solutions. You create templates for files and bills of materials, simplify processes and utilise feedback from technicians. You also contribute to the introduction of new products and digital tools, notably in home automation, smart home and energy management.

Your profile

• Project manager electrician in low voltage planning / Project manager electrician in low voltage planning or Electrical engineer, or equivalent qualification
• Mastery of high and low voltage installations, and good knowledge of electrical equipment
• Good knowledge of NIBT, OIBT and SIA standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and very good knowledge of Revit (or vice versa)
• Good knowledge of Winprogitel EX, CAN calculation manual and Relux; BIMcollab is an asset
• Ease in multi-technical CVSE coordination and in preparing bids
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
