Application Manager Clinical Systems (m/f/d)

In this role, you take responsibility for the operation and continuous development of the clinical information system (CIS/PIS), including the patient data management system. You configure and customise user interfaces, monitor system availability, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate collaboration with software manufacturers as well as 3rd-level support. Additionally, you ensure data security and data protection, coordinate updates and adjustments according to clinical requirements, and integrate medical devices with the CIS/PIS. You bring education or training in computer science, experience with database-supported applications, and ideally knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, C#, as well as healthcare experience. Furthermore, you are characterised by an independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style, support 2nd-level support, are ready for on-call duties after thorough familiarisation, and communicate very confidently in German.
Responsibilities:
Technical and functional support of a central platform for clinical patient data as well as continuous adaptation to the needs of medical departments
Configuration of the application and integration of medical technology systems as well as ensuring reliable and data protection-compliant operation
Management of releases, system adjustments, and technical developments in close coordination with users and software partners
Analysis of complex application faults at 2nd-level support and participation in rollouts and digitalisation projects in the clinical environment
Qualifications:
Education or training in computer science and experience in supporting database-driven business or specialised applications
Technical understanding of server landscapes, system integrations, and databases; knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, or C# is a plus
Interest in medical processes and digital clinical applications; experience in healthcare is advantageous
Reliable and analytical personality with strong communication skills, very good German language skills, and willingness for on-call duty
