Tasks

• You are the nursing contact person responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing process, involving the social environment and the internal and external network.
• You shape everyday life in a family-like setting together with the residents, where cooking and housekeeping together are just as much a part as organising leisure activities. You actively and enthusiastically contribute to the further development of the nursing services in your residential group by bringing in your ideas and helping to shape the broad scope for action. You support apprentices and students from various health and social care training programmes in developing their skills.

Profile

• Passion for the concept of nursing residential groups and for helping to create a pleasant home for the residents
• Resilience and enjoyment in taking responsibility and using the scope for action of an independent residential group
• Completed studies as a nursing specialist HF/FH with SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad
• Enjoyment in passing on your expertise and applying pedagogical skills
• Experience in long-term care and support desirable

The annual salary for this position ranges from CHF 85,228 to CHF 113,882 (100%) depending on experience.

The Health Centres for the Elderly of the City of Zurich are one of the largest geriatric institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the elderly care sector – with expertise, heart and a comprehensive range of services from a single source.

The nursing residential groups of the Health Centres for the Elderly consist of manageable shared flats and specialise in the needs of people with dementia and people with psychiatric conditions. The Nursing Residential Group Köschenrüti, specialised in the needs of people with dementia, is located on the northern edge of Seebach. Here you work together with between 6-10 colleagues.
