Your tasks – our position
As a certified expert in anaesthesia care EPD ES with trainer role, you actively work in the fields of adult and paediatric anaesthesia while playing a key role in the practical training and development of future professionals.
Clinical activity
- You ensure professional, safe, and patient-centred care during general and regional anaesthesia.
- You work in both adult and paediatric anaesthesia, actively applying your professional expertise.
- You provide continuous monitoring of patients, quickly identify any changes in their clinical condition, and respond appropriately to the situation.
- In emergency or crisis situations, you act in a structured manner and implement necessary measures in collaboration with the anaesthesia team.
- You contribute to the safe and appropriate positioning of patients.
- You collaborate closely with medical staff and other operating theatre professionals and, as needed, take on interdisciplinary tasks.
Professional training
- You accompany and support trainees and students during their practical placements in an individualised, caring, and goal-oriented manner.
- You plan and organise learning sequences in clinical practice and create situations that link theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
- You promote the development of professional, methodological, social, and personal skills and guide trainees towards increasing autonomy and responsibility.
- You observe and assess their progress and conduct structured follow-up, review, and evaluation interviews.
- You provide constructive feedback, encourage reflection on practice, and contribute to a culture of learning and constructive error.
- You collaborate closely with training managers, the nursing team, and relevant educational institutions.
- You actively participate in the development of practical training and the continuous improvement of its quality in the field of anaesthesia care.
Your skills – our expectations
For this dual-responsibility role, we are looking for a personality with solid professional expertise and a genuine interest in pedagogy, who enjoys supporting people in their professional development.
- Diploma as a certified expert in anaesthesia care EPD ES or equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
- Strong professional experience and high level of competence in anaesthesia care
- Pedagogical training, e.g. FSEA certificate, or willingness to acquire a corresponding qualification
- Strong interest in supporting and developing trainees and students of various levels and age groups
- Ability to individualise learning processes, identify development potential, and provide constructive feedback
- Excellent communication and reflective skills as well as interpersonal ease
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and structured working method
- Experience in paediatric anaesthesia is an advantage but not essential
- Enjoy working interprofessionally and actively contributing to the development of training quality
- Good general knowledge of IT tools
- Very good knowledge of German or French as well as knowledge of the other language
