Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Project Manager for demanding public infrastructure projects in the municipal environment. You will take on the client-side project management and overall construction management for projects in the areas of road construction, utility construction, public spaces, and drainage. In addition to technical project control, you are responsible for specifications, tendering, costs, deadlines, and quality and prepare decision-making bases for political bodies. You actively contribute to the development of sustainable and future-oriented infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
Independent planning, management, and implementation of demanding civil engineering and infrastructure projects across all relevant project phases
Client-side project management and overall construction management for projects in road construction, utility construction, as well as public spaces and facilities
Control and coordination of external engineering offices, specialist planners, contractors, utilities, and other project participants
Technical processing and consulting in the areas of road construction, utilities, sewerage, and drainage planning
Support of projects for settlement and property drainage as well as coordination of corresponding interfaces
Responsibility for cost, schedule, quality, and performance control within the assigned projects
Preparation and review of specifications, bills of quantities, and tender documents as well as support of award procedures
Preparation of decision-making bases, project applications, reports, and credit applications for authorities and political bodies
Conducting and coordinating construction meetings, inspections, quantity controls, and construction accounting
Ensuring the application of relevant NPK, VSS, and SIA standards as well as legal and municipal requirements
Participation in interdisciplinary planning procedures and public participation processes as well as development of sustainable solutions for municipal infrastructure
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training with further education as Bachelor of Engineering FH, Technician HF Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in project management in general civil engineering and utility construction, ideally on the client side
Sound knowledge of specifications, NPK, tendering, and awarding procedures
Experience with road construction, utilities, sewerage, as well as settlement and property drainage
Good knowledge of relevant VSS and SIA standards as well as Swiss planning and construction processes
Experience with overall construction management, cost management, and all relevant planning phases
Knowledge of political, administrative, and official processes in the municipal environment
