As part of the development of our Technical and Maintenance Department, and more specifically its Maintenance Contracts service, we are looking for a professional ready to take on new challenges:

Versatile Roofing Team Leader (M/F)

Reporting to the Maintenance Contracts service, you will work in tandem with a colleague whom you will supervise. Together, you will work on a portfolio of buildings under maintenance contracts, mainly located in the canton of Geneva: periodic inspections, preventive maintenance, and roof repairs. You will be the link between the field and the project manager, and the face of Cerutti to our clients on site.

Your tasks:

• You organise your partner’s day: objectives, task distribution, adherence to schedules and regulations.
• You carry out maintenance interventions (cleaning gutters and downpipes, checking and replacing roofing elements, minor sheet metal and waterproofing repairs) according to best practice.
• You prepare your rounds: checking equipment, ordering materials within the defined framework, optimising travel between sites.
• You apply and enforce safety rules and the wearing of PPE, and you stop any work presenting a danger.
• You establish a reliable assessment of the roof conditions (photos, observations) and report defects and planned work to the project manager.
• You are the contact person for our clients on site (property managers, caretakers, residents): you inform them, listen to them, and relay their requests to the project manager.
• You support your teammate daily and contribute to their development.
• You ensure the tracking of hours and materials and submit intervention documents weekly.

Your profile:

• You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a roofer or an equivalent qualification, and have several years of experience in the trade.
• Experience in roof maintenance or supervision is an asset.
• You are versatile: roofing is your trade, and sheet metal work and waterproofing are familiar to you.
• You know the canton of Geneva and the trade practices there.
• You demonstrate leadership, exemplary conduct, and good organisational skills.
• You are reliable and able to work autonomously, based on trust.
• You have a service-oriented attitude and a neat appearance: you often work on occupied sites, in direct contact with our clients.
• Safety is non-negotiable for you and your teammate. Valid training for working at heights is required.
• You are comfortable with digital tools (smartphone, tablet) to document your interventions.
• You hold a category B driving licence.
