In this position, you develop, programme, and maintain modern building automation systems and ensure their reliable function throughout the entire lifecycle. You optimise control processes, analyse technical challenges, and implement individual automation solutions together with project teams and customers. In doing so, you combine PLC technology, network solutions, and building management systems into efficient and future-proof overall systems.
Responsibilities:
Development, programming, and integration of PLC controls for demanding building automation solutions
Configuration, adaptation, and optimisation of automation processes within building management technology
Execution of commissioning, system tests as well as structured fault analysis and troubleshooting
Implementation of customer-specific automation solutions in close collaboration with project managers, technicians, and customers
Analysis and optimisation of existing control and communication systems
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, system descriptions, and interface documents
Ensuring compliance with standards, guidelines, and technical regulations
Support in the further development of modern building automation concepts
Qualifications:
Completed training in building informatics, automation, electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification
Experience in programming and implementation of PLC systems
Knowledge of automation solutions and communication standards such as Wago, Siemens, Modbus, KNX or BACnet
Understanding of building automation, network technology and industrial control systems
Ability to analyse complex technical contexts and develop sustainable solutions
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Strong teamwork and communication skills in dealing with customers and project partners
Driving licence category B
Good English skills
Fluent German skills
