DevOps Engineer Windows & Automation (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you actively shape Windows environments rather than just operating them. You focus on automation, a clean setup, and well-thought-out, sustainable solutions instead of short-term workarounds. You build, automate, and operate complete Windows infrastructures that are stable, efficient, and of high quality. With your eye for detail, you ensure that systems run reliably and are continuously improved.
Responsibilities:
- You build Windows domain environments and provide them automatically
- In this role, you design and optimise system architectures with a focus on scalability
- As a Windows DevOps Engineer, you use Ansible for provisioning, updates, and recurring deployments
- You operate and further develop Proxmox, Parallels, Fortigate, and network components
- In this role, you implement backup and security concepts, including with Proxmox Backup
- As a Windows DevOps Engineer, you actively contribute to the further development of internal standards and the automation strategy
Qualifications:
- You have good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network technology
- You have experience with automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or comparable solutions
- You bring technical understanding of virtualisation, firewalling, and deployment
- You are eager to take responsibility and drive topics forward independently
- You think openly and solution-oriented and want to understand rather than just click
