Senior Physician Angiology (m/f/d)
Role:
In this senior position at one of the largest and most versatile vascular centres in Switzerland, you will take responsibility for a modern, non-invasive angiology with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic options in a university environment. You will work closely with recognised specialists from angiology, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and other disciplines and actively shape the further development of non-invasive vascular medicine. In addition, you will be involved in specialised clinics such as phlebology, vascular malformations, microcirculation, male health, prevention, and the diabetic foot clinic. You will have access to clinical research, academic networks, and university teaching and will be specifically supported in your scientific and academic development. Responsibilities:
- You bear professional and organisational co-responsibility in the field of non-invasive angiology
- In this role, you perform vascular duplex sonography and other non-invasive diagnostic procedures and further develop them
- As a senior physician in angiology, you care for complex angiological patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- You work closely in an interdisciplinary manner within the vascular centre and with other specialist disciplines
- In this role, you participate in the training, further education, and continuing education of physicians
- You contribute to clinical research projects and the academic development of the clinic
Qualifications:
- You hold a specialist title in angiology or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland as well as a federally recognised medical diploma
- You have several years of clinical experience in angiology, preferably at a university or interdisciplinary vascular centre
- You possess sound knowledge of non-invasive vascular diagnostics, especially vascular duplex sonography
- You are experienced in outpatient and inpatient care of complex vascular patients
- You have completed a doctorate in medicine; a habilitation or comparable academic qualification is an advantage
- You communicate very well in German; knowledge of French is an advantage
