Civil Engineering Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 120,000Role:
Responsible project management role in municipal civil engineering with diverse tasks related to road construction, hydraulic engineering, and urban drainage. The position includes planning, coordination, and implementation of new construction and maintenance projects as well as collaboration with authorities, specialist offices, and external partners. A varied role with high personal responsibility and direct influence on the sustainable development of urban infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Management and coordination of diverse new construction and maintenance projects in civil and road engineering
Independent project leadership from planning through tendering and awarding to successful implementation
Technical support for the civil engineering department management as well as involvement in strategic and technical issues
Supervision of projects in the areas of roads, streams, wastewater, and urban drainage
Preparation and execution of tenders as well as coordination of contractors, planners and other project participants
Application and implementation of relevant legal principles and guidelines in the civil engineering sector
Qualifications:
Completed higher technical education as Certified Technician HF, Civil Engineer FH or a comparable qualification in civil engineering
Several years of professional experience in project management or handling civil engineering projects
Experience in project management as well as in planning, tendering, and implementation of construction projects
Good expertise in road construction, hydraulic engineering or in urban drainage is an advantage
Knowledge in the area of wastewater management (GEP) as well as relevant legal foundations is an advantage
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for collaboration with authorities, specialist offices, and project participants
