H+ Your Hospitals is the national umbrella association of public and private hospitals and clinics. Its headquarters are in Bern. For over 20 years, H+ has offered companies in the health sector its own branch-specific solution for occupational safety and health protection. Nearly 260 companies, totalling more than 143,000 full-time equivalents, use the H+ branch solution, including university hospitals and hospital centres, rehabilitation clinics, psychiatric institutions, long-term care facilities, as well as radiology and blood transfusion centres.
As an occupational safety specialist with the H+ branch solution, you help health sector companies create safe and healthy working conditions throughout Switzerland, practical and solution-oriented. With a small committed team, you develop our offer and actively participate in its future.
Your tasks
- Ensuring the quality and services of the H+ branch solution Occupational Safety and Health Protection
- Collaboration in the development and expansion of the H+ branch solution
- Advising and supporting our members on occupational safety and health protection – by phone and directly on site, especially in French- and Italian-speaking Switzerland
- Coordinating and conducting audits in companies as well as initial and continuing training
- Developing the training offer in collaboration with training institutions, e.g. Espace Compétences
- Monitoring and developing the online hazard identification tool
- Preparing specialist articles in collaboration with the team and the Communications department
Your skills
- Technical or commercial basic training
- Further training in the field of occupational safety and health at the federal diploma level or willingness to undertake corresponding further training
- Professional experience in occupational safety and/or health protection, ideally in the health sector
- Fluent in German or French and very good knowledge of the other language; knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- Confident and audience-appropriate presentation skills, enthusiasm for presenting and training
- Strong personal motivation and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Marked team spirit, sense of responsibility and implementation capability
- Willingness to travel, especially for assignments in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino
