About the job

Your area of responsibility

• Collaboration in financial accounting with a focus on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and asset accounting
• Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including account reconciliations and accruals
• Independent checking, coding and posting of supplier invoices as well as processing of expense and credit card statements
• Execution and monitoring of payment runs as well as support in accounts receivable accounting
• Collaboration in intercompany reconciliations, reporting and internal control system (ICS) checks in the finance area
• Maintenance of master data, preparation of evaluations and participation in the optimisation of financial processes
• Participation in finance projects and support in the introduction or further development of SAP S/4HANA

Your profile

• Completed commercial training and several years of experience in financial accounting (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting)
• Very good user knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
• High IT affinity as well as confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
• Independent, structured and very precise way of working, high reliability in deadlines and quality
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
• Teamwork and service-oriented communication (internal/external), combined with a pragmatic "hands-on" mentality

Additionally advantageous (nice-to-have)

• Further training in accounting (e.g. accounting clerk / professional certificate in perspective)
• Experience with VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations and internal controls (ICS) or audit preparation
• Practical experience in ERP conversions / implementation projects (testing, cutover, data cleansing/migration, process documentation, key user role)
• Responsible, solution-oriented and enthusiastic about improving processes and actively participating in projects (S/4HANA implementation).
