About the job
Your area of responsibility
- Collaboration in financial accounting with a focus on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and asset accounting
- Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including account reconciliations and accruals
- Independent checking, coding and posting of supplier invoices as well as processing of expense and credit card statements
- Execution and monitoring of payment runs as well as support in accounts receivable accounting
- Collaboration in intercompany reconciliations, reporting and internal control system (ICS) checks in the finance area
- Maintenance of master data, preparation of evaluations and participation in the optimisation of financial processes
- Participation in finance projects and support in the introduction or further development of SAP S/4HANA
Your profile
- Completed commercial training and several years of experience in financial accounting (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting)
- Very good user knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
- High IT affinity as well as confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
- Independent, structured and very precise way of working, high reliability in deadlines and quality
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
- Teamwork and service-oriented communication (internal/external), combined with a pragmatic "hands-on" mentality
Additionally advantageous (nice-to-have)
- Further training in accounting (e.g. accounting clerk / professional certificate in perspective)
- Experience with VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations and internal controls (ICS) or audit preparation
- Practical experience in ERP conversions / implementation projects (testing, cutover, data cleansing/migration, process documentation, key user role)
- Responsible, solution-oriented and enthusiastic about improving processes and actively participating in projects (S/4HANA implementation).
