For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the Bülach ZH area, we are looking for an independent, technically skilled and solution-oriented individual as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician / Automation Technician 80-100% (m/f).
In this role, you will work together with the technical team to ensure that production systems and electrical operating equipment function reliably and safely. Your focus will be on maintenance electrical engineering, troubleshooting, upkeep and the technical optimisation of existing systems.
- Systematic analysis and resolution of electrical and control technology faults
- Supervision and inspection of control cabinets, controls, sensors, drives and other electrical components
- Performing preventive maintenance and servicing according to the maintenance plan
- Fault finding using electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Assisting with modifications, expansions and new installations of electrical systems
- Support during commissioning, function tests and technical optimisations
- Updating electrical schematics, technical documentation and executed measures
- Ensuring high system availability and safe production operations
- Close collaboration with production, mechanical maintenance, engineering and external service partners
- Compliance with applicable safety, quality and operational regulations
- Professional experience in maintenance electrical engineering, industrial electrical engineering or electrical maintenance is an advantage
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, controls, sensors, drive technology and control cabinets
- Confident reading of electrical schematics and enjoyment of systematic fault finding
- PLC knowledge, for example Siemens S7 or TIA Portal, is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics or hydraulics is an additional plus
- Independent, reliable and responsible working style
- Strong safety and quality awareness
- Solution-oriented personality with enjoyment of collaboration with production and technical teams
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Willingness for day shifts, on-call or shift work, depending on the area of deployment
