Scientific Research Associate (a)

What the daily professional routine looks like

• Support in planning clinical studies
• Preparation of study protocols and other submission documents for the ethics committee as well as supporting our medical and student staff in their preparation
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with external partners/sponsors for study activation and ensuring correct study conduct and documentation including reporting of relevant events
• Inclusion and care of study patients in cooperation with the principal investigators
• Coordination, execution and documentation of patient visits
• Conducting monitoring visits
• Registry maintenance and data management as well as related obligations towards our external partners and support of clinical processes
• Statistical evaluations and further development of quality assurance
• Conducting staff training
• The position is limited to 2 years with the prospect of extension

Skills and potential

• Professional experience in the field of clinical studies and/or data management
• CAS studies, studies in human medicine, biology, nursing sciences, life sciences or related courses with professional experience in clinical studies
• Independence, initiative as well as a structured and organised way of working are among your strengths
• Committed personality with high willingness to perform, team spirit and social competence in dealing with sick people
• Knowledge of database structures or in creating databases as well as in statistical evaluations
• Very good German and English skills
• Regular working hours from Monday to Friday
• Flexibility regarding a workplace at two hospital locations in Liestal and Bruderholz as well as willingness to work after 5:00 pm
