About our client
Our client is an established, dynamic company in the manufacturing sector. To strengthen the finance team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a precise, analytical and process-oriented individual as a Finance and Accounting Specialist.
What to expect
Operational daily business: Independent management and handling of tasks in the general and subsidiary ledgers as well as active participation in the entire financial accounting process.
Financial statements: Co-design and operational support for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
Value Added Tax & Intercompany: Preparation and provision of VAT returns as well as handling of intercompany processes.
Master data & quality: Careful maintenance and management of finance-relevant master data.
Process & project collaboration: Active participation in the optimisation and further development of financial processes as well as in cross-departmental projects.
Governance: Ensuring timely, proper bookkeeping in compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines.
Qualifications
What you bring
Must-haves:
Education: Completed commercial basic training as well as further training as a Finance and Accounting Specialist with a federal diploma (or an equivalent qualification).
Professional experience: Several years of solid experience in the entire spectrum of financial accounting (general and subsidiary ledgers, financial statements according to OR, VAT).
Industry background: Proven experience in the manufacturing environment / industry.
IT skills: Proficient use of ERP systems as well as excellent MS Office skills (especially advanced Excel).
Languages: German as mother tongue (mandatory) as well as solid basic knowledge of English.
Personality: Independent, precise and service-oriented working style, strong analytical and process-oriented thinking as well as high initiative and team spirit.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in consolidation.
Practical experience in analysing and reorganising financial processes.
Scope for design: Short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies where you can directly contribute your expertise.
