Payroll Expert 80% – 100% (m/f/d)
Your Role
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting various administrative tasks, thus contributing to the smooth functioning of payroll and compliance processes within our organisation.
Your Main Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Collect, process and verify payroll data. Manage processes related to taxes, social security, health insurance and work permits. Ensure timely payment of salaries in compliance with Swiss legislation. Participate in audits, unemployment claims and payroll-related reports. Collaborate with the Finance department for payroll account reconciliation. Maintain and archive payroll documents accurately. Create payroll reports for management.
Systems and Process Support
Collaborate with internal and external payroll providers. Propose and implement improvements to optimise payroll processing. Test and manage system changes in collaboration with the IPS Coordinator.
Pension Administration
Manage employee enrolments in pension schemes and verify invoices. Analyse and resolve discrepancies in pension data.
Compliance and Communication
Stay informed about Swiss payroll legislation and inform stakeholders. Assist the HR team with payroll-related and complex issues. Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders.
Your Profile
Education and Experience
Swiss payroll certification mandatory, accompanied by a university degree or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll/HR administration, ideally in the retail sector.
Skills and Qualities
Proficiency in English; fluent French and a good understanding of German are a plus. Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of payroll/HR systems. Attention to detail, excellent organisational and analytical skills. Proactive, team-oriented, and able to manage priorities under pressure.
