Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the Project Management Building Automation in the Zurich area. You will take on demanding automation projects from technical planning and programming to commissioning and handover to the customer. The focus is on intelligent control and regulation solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and other building technology systems. The role combines technical project responsibility with PLC programming, system integration, and coordination of interdisciplinary project participants.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and realisation of demanding building automation projects from planning to handover
Design and specification of automation, control, and regulation systems for building technology installations
Creation and implementation of control concepts, functional descriptions, and automation solutions
Programming and parameterisation of PLC and DDC controls for customer-specific systems
Execution of commissioning and functional testing of building automation systems on site
Integration and coordination of automation with HVAC systems and higher-level control systems
Handling technical interfaces in the areas of network technology, communication, and system integration
Control and monitoring of costs, deadlines, quality, and project progress
Coordination with clients, specialist planners, installation companies, and other HVACSE project participants
Conducting system acceptance and handling defects and optimisations
Creation and maintenance of technical project and system documentation
Instruction and technical advice to customers on operation, use, and optimisation of the implemented systems
Qualifications:
Completed basic training as automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, building technology planner EFZ or comparable technical education
Further education as technician HF or engineer FH in automation, electrical engineering, or building technology is an advantage
Several years of experience in building automation, HVAC automation, or MSR technology
Sound knowledge in PLC programming, control and network technology, experience with Schneider systems is an advantage
Experience in design, project management, and commissioning of building automation systems
Good knowledge of IT, network technology, and MS Office
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
