As a Security Engineer, you are responsible for the stable and secure operation of central security and identity infrastructures. You combine technical engineering with continuous optimisation and work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external specialists.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of the Web Application Firewall (WAF) and the Identity & Access Management (IAM) environment
Administration and support of internal and external firewalls
Ensuring ongoing operations including monitoring, backup, as well as incident, problem, and change management
Conducting technical analyses and capacity management
Planning, implementation, and review of measures for stable and secure operation
Collaboration with internal departments and external partners
Independent development and further advancement of security know-how as well as exchange with external specialists
Qualifications:
Advanced professional training in computer science (FH, HF) or comparable education or further training in the IT field, ideally with a focus on security
Experience in a comparable security or infrastructure environment is an advantage
Knowledge of authentication and federation procedures, for example PKI or SAML
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
