The CVE Les Collonges, a privately subsidised childcare centre in the heart of Lausanne, welcomes 87 children aged 4 months to 5 years every day. Our human-scale institution is known for its warm welcome, its roots in the neighbourhood and its commitment to a fulfilling and inclusive reception.
Our Koshi project, developed with the CPHV of the Fondation Asile des Aveugles, welcomes children with visual impairments and children from the neighbourhood together. A demanding and unique project, which is one of the strengths of our institution.

A Director at 80%
Your role
As head of the CVE, you set the course, unite a team of around 40 collaborators and ensure the quality of care offered to children and their families.
You are specifically responsible for:
- leading and supporting the team;
- ensuring safety, well-being and quality of care;
- carrying and developing the educational project with the professionals;
- managing administrative and budgetary tasks;
- developing relationships with families, the neighbourhood and the professional network;
- continuing partnerships with the CPHV and the DIP and bringing our inclusive project to life.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who knows how to give direction, build trust and move things forward.
You have:
- a recognised HES qualification by the SCAJE, supplemented by a certified postgraduate training;
- at least 5 years of experience in a childcare community;
- training in team management and project management (CAS or equivalent), with a DAS in the long term;
- proven management experience;
- excellent interpersonal skills and a good ability to manage complex situations;
- a strong sense of organisation, priorities and interdisciplinary collaboration;
- a genuine interest in early childhood, inclusion and networking.
