Responsibilities:
You manage defined suppliers and conduct regular coordination meetings.
You develop procurement strategies together with the responsible departments.
You identify technical requirements and coordinate their procurement.
You obtain offers, compare conditions and prepare awards.
You conduct supplier qualifications together with internal departments.
During audits, you assess suppliers regarding quality and performance.
You negotiate and maintain contracts with national and international partners.
Market analyses form the basis for your procurement decisions.
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship with further training in purchasing.
Several years of experience in a technical purchasing role.
Knowledge from mechanical, vehicle or plant engineering is welcome.
Experience in managing and assessing suppliers.
Strong negotiation skills and solution-oriented thinking.
You use SAP ERP and MS Office routinely in daily work.
Willingness to travel internationally for supplier visits and audits.
Fluent German and very good English.
