We are looking for junior assistants in paediatrics by arrangement.
The Centre for Child and Adolescent Medicine (ZKJ) cares for children of all ages, from premature infants to adolescents. Organisationally, we are divided into three specialist areas: the Neonatology Clinic, the Child and Adolescent Medicine Clinic, and the Social Paediatric Centre SPZ.

Your tasks
Would you like to actively support us in everyday clinical life for 2 to 4 months?
On the ward, you will get to know the daily routine – ward rounds, ordering investigations, consultations, discharges. After your internship at the ZKJ, you will be able to take the medical history and perform the examination of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. You will present the patients to the junior or senior doctors, summarise the most important findings, and provide an initial working hypothesis. At the handover and on the ward round, you will present the patients you have examined yourself.
Your profile
- Active medical student
- Student in the elective year (Switzerland) or in the practical/clinical year
- Minimum internship duration of 8 weeks
- German language skills at least B2
