Responsibilities:
Strategic Purchasing: Development and implementation of sustainable procurement and product group strategies considering costs, quality, availability, and risks.
Supplier Management: Evaluation, qualification, development, and regular assessment of national and international suppliers.
Negotiation: Independent conduct of price, contract, and condition negotiations as well as conclusion of framework agreements.
Technical Procurement: Procurement and evaluation of technically demanding components, assemblies, and services in close cooperation with development, design, production, and quality assurance.
Cost Optimisation: Identification and realisation of savings potential through market analyses, value analyses, standardisation, and alternative procurement sources.
Project Procurement: Active participation in development and industrialisation projects as well as early involvement of suitable suppliers.
Risk Management: Ensuring a long-term stable supply chain through targeted procurement strategies and early detection of supply risks.
Process Optimisation: Continuous development of purchasing processes, master data quality, and relevant key figures.
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training, ideally supplemented by further education in purchasing, supply chain management, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
Several years of professional experience in strategic technical purchasing within an industrial company.
Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and entrepreneurial action.
Experience in supplier, contract, and cost management.
Confident handling of ERP systems as well as MS Office, especially Excel.
Very good German skills and good English skills.
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
