Application Manager Clinical Information System (m/f/d)
Role:
Clinical applications must run at all times, as the daily routine of entire treatment teams depends on them. As Application Manager Clinical Information System, you ensure the stable operation of a Clinical Information System (CIS) and other specialised applications. You operate between departments, suppliers and infrastructure teams, translating professional needs into technically clear requirements. You can expect an environment where reliability and advisory competence are equally important.
Responsibilities:
You monitor availability, performance, recoverability and resource consumption of the applications you manage.
You analyse faults, resolve them or coordinate their handling and provide workarounds if necessary.
Furthermore, you develop professional solutions and specifications, accompany implementation with the supplier and test until productive introduction.
You plan and accompany releases and rollouts and ensure a smooth introduction of new functions.
In addition, you maintain operational, user and system documentation and advise users.
You also contribute your expertise to cross-departmental projects and the further development of the clinical application landscape.
Qualifications:
You have completed studies in computer science, business informatics or medical informatics or have a comparable qualification.
You bring several years of experience in application support, ideally from a clinical environment.
You understand the processes and needs of a hospital well; practical experience with a clinical information system is a plus.
Furthermore, you are familiar with application servers, databases and interfaces, standards such as HL7 complement your profile.
Your broad ICT know-how enables you to communicate on equal terms with teams from network, server, client engineering and IAM.
In addition, you work analytically and solution-oriented, communicate convincingly and master German fluently in both spoken and written form.
