Purchasing Product Manager Garden Technology
Responsibilities
- Development and consistent implementation of a competitive assortment strategy in the garden technology sector
- Active management of the assortment portfolio regarding innovation, profitability, seasonal planning, and customer relevance
- Management of supplier partnerships domestically and abroad as well as negotiation of terms focusing on availability, quality, and differentiation
- Responsibility for the operational and strategic implementation of projects and assortment initiatives across various interfaces
- Leadership and development of the four-member garden technology team with a focus on collaboration, goal achievement, and implementation strength
Requirements
- Completed studies in business administration or marketing (university/FH) or commercial basic training with corresponding further education in marketing as well as solid professional experience in category management and/or procurement in the non-food sector
- Committed, innovative, and market- and customer-oriented personality with analytical flair, strong negotiation skills, and assertiveness
- Leadership personality with a passion for team management and the ability to act in a structured and confident manner even in demanding and complex projects
- High affinity for the area of responsibility as well as trend-oriented, entrepreneurial thinking personality with pioneering spirit
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good French and English skills
