Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional as HVAC Engineer / Project Engineer Building Services for demanding projects in infrastructure, building construction, and industry. You will take on the planning and coordination of complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitary systems and develop energy-efficient and sustainable building services solutions. The technical focus is on ventilation and refrigeration systems, thermal systems, and project planning according to SIA phases 3-5. You will work interdisciplinarily with various engineering and planning teams and accompany projects from concept development to execution planning.
Responsibilities:
Management, planning, and coordination of demanding HVAC projects in infrastructure, building construction, and industrial environments
Development of HVAC concepts and feasibility studies as well as assessment of technical solution variants
Planning and project design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitary systems in SIA phases 3-5
Execution of technical calculations, dimensioning, and system design for building services installations
Design and dimensioning of complex ventilation and refrigeration systems for infrastructure and industrial projects
Development and optimisation of energy-efficient and sustainable system concepts considering operational requirements
Preparation of technical specifications, schematics, calculation reports, and project documentation
Coordination of technical interfaces between HVAC, electrical, building automation, construction, and other disciplines
Participation in BIM-based planning as well as coordination and processing of building services models
Technical coordination with clients, specialist planners, architects, and other project participants
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, quality requirements, and technical guidelines
Qualifications:
Completed studies at FH/ETH level in building services engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field with a focus on energy, fluid, or process engineering
Several years of professional experience in planning HVAC, thermal, or refrigeration systems in infrastructure or industrial environments
Solid knowledge in dimensioning ventilation and refrigeration systems as well as technical system planning
Good knowledge of SIA standards and experience with relevant planning and execution phases
Knowledge of BIM and Autodesk Revit as well as confident use of Microsoft 365 is an advantage
Very good Italian language skills and German at least level B2
English and/or French skills are an advantage
