Community Manager – Communication, Network & Content (60 - 80%)

Encouraging motivated young people, stimulating their scientific curiosity and networking them – that is our mission. We, the Science and Youth Foundation , have been committed for 60 years to supporting the next generation in the fields of science and technology.

To continue developing our community in Romandy, we are looking for a dedicated individual. Someone who enjoys not just carrying out tasks, but actively participating, creating networks and bringing their own ideas.

What you can achieve with us:

For this position, there is no rigid script. You have the space to shape our presence in French-speaking Switzerland in your own way:

• Community & Network: You are the essential link for our network of teachers and alumni in French-speaking Switzerland. How you cultivate these relationships and the innovative exchange formats you create to enthuse people about our programmes is largely up to you.

• Content creation with great freedom: Whether it is captivating storytelling, creative smartphone videos or collaborative content for social media, you have the freedom to design and produce content tailored to our French-speaking Swiss audience, from the initial idea to publication.

• Strategy & Presence: You have a flair for opportunities. You represent us at events, develop contacts with the media and strategically and sustainably grow our Romandy community.

What will help you in this role:

Rather than a strict checklist, it is important for us that you have the right tools and mindset to enjoy this freedom of action:

• You are based in Romandy, French is your mother tongue and you are perfectly comfortable communicating in German (min. C1).

• You have practical experience in digital communication (CMS such as WordPress, social media, newsletters), you enjoy producing short videos and you have knowledge of public relations / media relations.

• You find it easy to bring people together. You enjoy working independently and managing projects in a structured way, from A to Z.

• If you also know the Swiss educational landscape (upper secondary level) or the Romandy media landscape, your start will be all the easier.
