Job Description
For our client in a dynamic and international environment, we are looking for a qualified test bench mechanic. In this responsible role, you will be in charge of commissioning and acceptance of complex compressor systems. An exciting activity awaits you at the interface between assembly, technology and customer contact.
Temporary test bench mechanic 80% - 100%
Tasks
- You set up compressors on the test bench, configure them and run them in.
- You carry out trial runs together with our customers.
- You are responsible for conducting precise leak tests.
- You analyse faults directly on the compressors and make necessary corrections.
- You apply state-of-the-art measuring technology and professionally evaluate the results.
- You accompany compressor acceptance with internal/external customers as well as inspectors.
- You actively participate in improvement projects within the test bench.
Qualifications
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a polymechanic, car, lorry, agricultural machinery, construction machinery mechanic or machinist.
- Ideally, you have experience in the assembly or commissioning of large machines.
- You are not afraid of heights, physically fit and confident in handling overhead cranes.
- You are willing to work in a two-shift system (06:00–14:30 / 14:15–22:45).
- You have very good German skills at C1 level.
- You are characterised by a high quality awareness and precise working methods.
