Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced BIM Specialist Infrastructure Construction for the digital planning of demanding infrastructure projects. You will take on a central specialist role in the model-based processing of road, rail and utility projects, particularly using solutions from the Autodesk world with Civil 3D, Revit and InfraWorks. In addition to operational project work, you will actively help shape BIM/CAD standards and digital workflows and support employees in their application. The position combines infrastructure planning, BIM, data management and the further development of digital planning processes.
Responsibilities:
Active participation and professional support in BIM projects in infrastructure and transport construction
Model-based processing of road, rail and utility projects
Creation, editing and quality assurance of complex 3D and BIM models
Application and further development of Autodesk Civil 3D for alignment, terrain models, corridors and infrastructure planning
Use of Revit and InfraWorks for model-based planning, visualisation and interdisciplinary coordination
Development and implementation of BIM/CAD standards, templates, guidelines and modelling processes
Definition and optimisation of data, model and information workflows within the project organisation
Coordination of IT and software interfaces and ensuring reliable data exchange between different planning systems
Support in model coordination, data checking and quality assurance in interdisciplinary projects
Consulting and support of project teams in the application of BIM methods and Autodesk technologies
Conducting internal training and user support for Civil 3D, Revit and other digital planning solutions
Participation in the continuous digitalisation and automation of planning processes
Qualifications:
Education as Civil Engineer FH/ETH, Technician HF or CAD draughtsperson / draftsman EFZ specialising in civil engineering
Several years of professional experience in planning demanding infrastructure projects in Switzerland
Very good user knowledge as a power user in Autodesk Civil 3D
Knowledge of Revit and InfraWorks as well as other Autodesk applications is an advantage
Experience with BIM processes, 3D modelling and digital planning standards
Knowledge in interface and data management between different planning software systems
Good German language skills; English skills are an advantage
