The Foundation for the Reception of Children of Blonay - Saint-Légier manages 10 day care structures, employs more than 170 staff members, and operates as a REBSL (day care network within the meaning of the LAJE) in which more than 1000 children are welcomed www.rebsl.ch.
We are looking for one of our preschool care structures, the CVE Les Vignes in Blonay, which offers 22 places for children from 4 months to 4.5 years old, a personality combining pedagogical, managerial and administrative skills as:
Preschool Structure Director
Reporting to the Foundation's Management, you are responsible for managing the structure, in accordance with the directives and the cantonal reference framework of the SCAJE, and in partnership with centralised services. You are accountable for the organisation, the support of a team, placement requests and the allocation of financial and human resources, as well as health and safety regulations. You ensure the pedagogical dimension that promotes discovery, play, nature, theatricality and an environment where imagination and creativity are at the heart of our educational approach. You collaborate in a network with your peers and other professional partners.
We are looking for a person who has:
- A tertiary diploma in early childhood education or an equivalent qualification.
- A recognised higher education diploma (CAS, DAS, in team management / Institution management) recognised by the SCAJE.
- Knowledge or interest in our pedagogy.
- A confirmed professional experience of at least 5 to 8 years.
- Organisational and project management skills, ease with numbers to ensure good financial management.
- Ease in contacts, dynamic and caring leadership with proven experience in team management, able to encourage dynamic processes while setting a framework.
- Good command of IT tools.
- Knowledge of networks and vision of the educational context and societal developments.
