Senior Network Specialist (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- You take on the project management of complex network and security projects and steer their successful implementation.
- You are responsible for the design, planning, implementation and maintenance of highly available networks for global clients.
- You conduct regular security checks and audits and ensure the optimisation of network security.
- You support the management and act as technical deputy in important projects and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as a System Technician EFZ or higher; ideally with additional certifications.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the network field, with a strong focus on Alcatel Lucent switching and firewall technologies.
- Very good knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VRF as well as extensive experience in the planning and design of networks.
- Experience in virtualisation (VMware) and backup solutions (Veeam), ideally also knowledge of Fortinet Security.
- Fluent German and English skills, additional foreign languages are a plus.
- Driving licence class B and willingness for international assignments
