Polymechanic (M/F) - Industrial Methods Specialisation
You will begin your training by learning the basics of the polymechanic trade, including the manufacture of parts, the use of conventional and CNC machines, as well as reading plans. In the second phase of your training, you will specialise in industrial methods. At this stage, your activities will mainly focus on the preparation, optimisation and monitoring of manufacturing processes, rather than the direct manufacture of parts.
Job Description
1st training phase - Basics of the polymechanic trade
- Machining mechanical parts -- manufacture of tools, components and devices using conventional or CNC machines
- CNC machine programming and adjustment -- creation, optimisation and adjustment of programmes
- Dimensional and quality control -- verification of measurements, tolerances and technical requirements of produced parts
- Mechanical assembly -- assembly of elements, sub-assemblies and devices according to plans
- Maintenance and diagnostics -- machine maintenance and basic interventions
- Prototype manufacturing -- production of single parts or small series
- Material preparation -- selection, cutting and shaping
- Technical plan reading -- interpretation of drawings, dimensions and tolerances
2nd training phase - Specialisation in industrial methods
In this phase, your activities are mainly focused on the preparation, optimisation and monitoring of manufacturing processes.
- Create routing sheets, bills of materials and SAP data -- structure and maintain the technical information necessary for production
- Carry out continuous improvement actions -- analyse root causes, propose solutions and participate in their implementation
- Monitor manufacturing orders in workshops -- ensure proper execution of MOs during industrialisation or improvement phases
- Collaborate with production -- analyse workstations and liaise with teams to optimise processes
- Update and utilise tracking files -- for industrialisations and improvements
- Industrialise prototypes -- work with project managers for production ramp-up
- Monitor internal tests -- plan, observe and analyse conducted tests

- Computer skills notably in Excel
- Upper secondary or intermediate level, accompanied by very good results in geometry, algebra, calculus and technical drawing
